We moved in on April 7th. It is a nice home and we are all comfortable in it. Throughout all the stress and worry, we found a nice place that suites our family better than the one we just moved from.

So after a month in the new home, business is back to normal. We are all settled in and have even mowed the lawn twice. Robert is enjoying the backyard the most and loves to use his scooter on the back covered patio. My mom is enjoying the fact that it is one level and she isn't going up steps anymore. But she is still getting exercise by walking the length of the house since it is long and on a double lot.

I think the Jon, Kevin and I are just enjoying the fact that there is a family room with a seperate space for privacy.

The universe, Lord and Lady heard our prayers and answered. We were able to get enough money from various sources to pay for everything we needed. Including getting a lot of our security deposit back from the other house when it felt like the landlord was set on finding ways to keep our money. In the end, he was fair.

And once again we are renewed in our faith in spirit and in the power of manifestation.

There is a major difference between owning your power and having power.

Owning power means you have taking responsibility for your abilities as a witch. There is no shame in this. Do we scold a solider for being powerful? Do we scold business men for being powerful? No. We observe how they use their power and then judge that.

When it comes to Paganism there seems to be some pervasive belief that if there is a powerful person in the room, then they are power hungar. Bull! Judge those types by how they wield the power they have earned through initiation and dedication! Judge them by how they treat their friends and families!

For you - and for me - this idea of not being ashamed of what we have become through initiation and dedication is not a bad journey to have to take! It means that our hearts remain in the right place and we long to be powerful not HAVE power. Powerful so that we can better serve our families, our friends and our communities.

Take it from me; however, once you have owned your power the desire to have power over rears its ugly head in all types of situations. Those who critize, I think know this; however, they don't believe that others do not have to succumb. Which is a shame!

So hold on to this feeling. The feeling of the knowledge that you are powerful and the desire to not be power hungary. In the future you will need to bring yourself back to this place. Only when you return the guilt will be gone and replaced with humility.

I love you! I can't wait to see you!
